On the 31st October 1819, Jonathan Gravewood of Gravewood Manor was found clutching three severed fingers that weren’t his. They belonged to his long-time pianist, the charming entertainer, Thomas Hawkins. Jonathan had become convinced Thomas was having an affair with his wife and after an absinthe-fuelled evening, Jonathan took matters into his own hands and snapped. He slit Thomas’ throat and severed his fingers.

Over the decades, locals turned the tale into a campfire horror story: “If you hear piano music on Halloween, run. Jonathan Gravewood might be coming after your fingers next”.

200 years later, it’s Halloween night at Gravewood Gorefest, with the main attraction being the real Gravewood Manor itself. Oliver Fern, who has been playing Thomas Hawkins (dubbed by the locals as “Tommy Two-Fingers”), is found dead with only two fingers remaining on his left hand.

Did Jonathan Gravewood find his next victim? Or do we need to look a little closer? To uncover the truth, you’ll need to keep a firm grip on the evidence and make sure no detail slips through your fingers.
