The Legend of Jonathan Gravewood
On 31st October 1819, Jonathan Gravewood was found clutching three severed fingers that weren’t his. They belonged to his long-time pianist, Thomas Hawkins. Convinced Thomas was having an affair with his wife, Jonathan snapped - slitting his throat and severing his fingers.
Over the decades, locals turned the story into a Halloween legend: “If you hear piano music, run. Jonathan Gravewood might be coming after your fingers next.” Two hundred years later, Gravewood Manor is the centrepiece of Gravewood Gorefest. But when Oliver Fern, the actor playing Thomas Hawkins, is found dead with only two fingers remaining on his left hand, the old legend suddenly feels very real.
Did Jonathan Gravewood find his next victim? Or is something far more human hiding behind the horror?
